Membership pricing

All visits with Dr. Jessie Pettit are included in Moon Hill Family Medicine's membership fees including check ups, same- or next-day visits for urgent issues, as well as phone or video consultations when appropriate. There are no copays for visits.

Dr. Pettit maintains a small list of patients to allow her to know her patients well, respond promptly to messages and results, and meet your needs.

Dr. Pettit views primary care and prevention as wide-reaching. This means in addition to providing age-appropriate cancer screening and Pap smears, advising you on which vaccines you need, she wants to manage your menopausal hormone therapy, help you optimize your metabolic health potentially through using GLP-1 or other weight loss medications, manage your osteoporosis through both lifestyle and medication which she can prescribe, and more. This broad skill set helps you avoid unnecessary trips to specialists' offices where the copays are usually higher than for primary care doctors (and again--there are no copays for visits at our office!).

Dr. Pettit offers a number of procedures that are included in your membership fee such as trigger point injections,  joint injections, placement and removal of IUDs and Nexplanon. For long acting contraception, there is no charge for the procedure but depending on your insurance there may be a charge for the device. 

Depending on your insurance copays, cash pricing on labs and imaging like X-rays or CT scans may be cheaper than running a claim through your insurance.

Dr. Pettit offers discounts on many common medications which are dispensed from the office at or near wholesale prices including medications for blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol. Dr. Pettit only dispenses medications for medical issues that she is managing. 

Controlled substances such as pain medications (oxycodone, hydrocodone, etc), benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, etc) and stimulants (Ritalin, Adderall, etc) are never dispensed from the office nor kept on the premises and are only available through the pharmacy.
