Primary care for all phases of life.
At Moon Hill Family Medicine, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to patients of all ages. Our mission is to empower patients to live healthy lives by delivering patient-centered care, combining conventional and integrative medicine therapies.
Dr. Jessie Pettit earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, completed her family medicine residency at the University of Arizona and has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 2009. She is a graduate of the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship and became an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2013.
Dr. Pettit has held many roles during her career: residency faculty member, residency program director, medical director of a medical-legal partnership to address the social and legal factors influencing health, and staff physician in a private practice. What has remained constant during these times is her longitudinal care of patients of all ages as their primary care physician.
Dr. Pettit values the privilege of caring for individuals and families as a trusted partner in their health journeys. Her broad clinical interests reflect a commitment to whole-person care, with a particular focus on women’s health across the lifespan including adolescence and the peripartum period through menopause and the transitions in between.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a model of healthcare where patients pay their doctor directly through a flat monthly membership fee instead of going through traditional insurance for most primary care services.
